In September, each council convenes its annual meeting, during which residents participate in the election of council directors for the upcoming calendar year. These elected directors will also assume positions on the Conservancy Board of Directors for the same period. The tenure of the elected individuals, both on the Council Board and the Conservancy Board, commences after the December Unit Owners' meeting.

Subsequent to the September Council Annual Meeting, an organizational session for the newly elected Council Directors takes place. This session determines who will assume the roles of Council Chair and Council Secretary among the directors.
