| Councils
Because of the different property regulations and budgetary interests of the neighborhoods within Walden Woods, the community is currently divided into five groups, known as Councils, based on the type of home and its location (see map).
Each of these Councils have (or will have) their own Board of Directors with each Director serving on the Conservancy's Board of Directors (total of 12):
The number of Directors serving each Council and represented on the Conservancy Board is based on the number of homes in each Council area. Current representation on the Conservancy Board:
Village Council (72 homes) = 3 members
Woodmoor Council (54 homes) = 2 membersRidge Council (30 homes) = 1 member
As the construction and occupancy of homes in the Country Walk development progresses, representatives from those councils will be selected one by one to serve on the Conservancy Board until the maximum representation is reached when the development is completed:
Duplex Council (92 homes) = 3 members (maximum)Townhome Council (88 homes) = 3 members (maximum)
