POOL RULES & REGULATIONS

WARNING:  There is no lifeguard on duty at any time.   Persons using the facility do so at their own risk.  Management assumes no responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use.   Bathing load is 72 persons.

ACCESS:

1.  The pool area is accessible by keying in a security code at its entrance.  The code may be obtained by contacting our property manager, Elite Management, 860-758-7773 and verifying your  Walden Woods residency.

2.  The pool will be closed in the event of inclement weather.

3.  The pool is for use by residents and their guests only.  Two guests are permitted for each household and must be accompanied by the resident.  

4.  Residents in arrears of their monthly association fees are not permitted use of the pool until their account is balanced.

5.  Dogs and other animals are not allowed in the pool enclosure.

6.  A parent or responsible adult supervisor must accompany all children under the age of 16 and non swimmers.

USE:

 1.  All persons shall bathe with warm water and soap before entering the pool.

 2.  Any persons known or suspected of having a communicable disease shall not use the pool.

 3.  Persons having open blisters, cuts, etc., are advised not to use the pool.

 4.  Spitting, spouting water, blowing nose or discharge of bodily waste in the pool is strictly prohibited.

 5.  Running, boisterous or rough play except supervised water sports is prohibited in the pool area, shower, or dressing rooms.

 6.  Common towels, combs, brushes and drinking cups are prohibited. Private swim suits and towels should be cleaned and dried after each use.   No jeans or cutoffs are allowed.

 7. No glass or sharp objects are allowed in the pool area.  All persons are responsible for picking up after themselves; violators will have their pool rights suspended.

 8.  NO DIVING is permitted at any time in any area of the pool.   All areas of the pool are shallow.

 9.  Management assumes no responsibility for personal property.  Lockers are provided in the cabanas for personal use.  Owners provide their own locks which must be removed, along with all locker contents, at the end of the season. 

NOTE:  The cabanas are unavailable for use every day from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 the following morning when they are unlocked by a contracted pool maintenance person.  The cabanas are then re-locked at 6:00 p.m. by the same contractor.

THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMITANCE TO, OR EJECT FROM THE POOL PREMISES, ANY PERSONS FAILING TO COMPLY WITH OR HAVING REPETITIVE INSTANCES OF ABUSING ANY OF THE ABOVE HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS.
